CSEA is looking to fill the Office Manager Roll in their Field Operations Department.

Starting Salary is $65,991 with built in salary progression.

The Office Manager reports to the Director of Field Operations and has the overall responsibility for all support and secretarial functions of the office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Supervises a core of employees, including approving leave requests, recommending employees for training; evaluating employees and disciplining employees when   warranted.  Ensures that projects are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  1. Ensures  performance  of  all   support  and   secretarial functions for the Director(s)  including, but not  limited to:  Review of incoming  mail, preparation of  responses  for Director's signature, and/or  collection of  information for Directors' use.  Maintenance   of   appointment   calendar   and   travel arrangements.  Responds to telephone and written inquiries on behalf of the Director and assists the Director with routine contacts where possible.
  1. Responsible  for  the  daily   operation  of  the   office including establishing  and maintaining  procedures  which include, but are not limited to, the following:  Ensures efficient and effective operation of the  office and compliance with all time  limits and other  external requirements.  Maintains attendance records for department.  Authorizes payment for materials and/or ordering of same and executes all office equipment contracts (purchase and service).  Reviews and keeps track of monthly budget figures and assists Director in preparing annual budget.
  1. Organizes work material in preparation for meetings.  Attends meetings for purpose of taking minutes.
  1. Provides support services to departmental personnel and assigns clerical support accordingly.
  1. Performs other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or Equivalency

AND

Four years of progressively responsible secretarial   office experience in handling   multiple priorities   and   providing leadership in a high volume office

AND

Must have good grammar and spelling skills, and ability to operate word processing equipment and type at least 40 words per minute.
